We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager/Assistant Director to join our Private Equity Coverage team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with financial sponsors, including private equity firms, to drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive coverage strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities with financial sponsors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at private equity firms, including portfolio companies and funds.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of topics, including financial analysis, market trends, and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including advisory, tax, and audit, to deliver integrated services to clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including pitches and proposals, to drive revenue growth.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience in a coverage role or transactional role.
  • Existing network and relationships with decision-makers at private equity firms in the mid and upper-mid market.
  • Solution-oriented mindset and client-centric approach, with a proven track record of internal and external networking experience and abilities.
  • Strong communication, listening, influencing, and interpersonal skills across organisational levels.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships in line with BDO values, which are collaborative in nature and a team player.
  • Strong business/commercial acumen, goal-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to measure and report on success.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities through effective prioritisation and delegation.
  • Strong quantitative, numerical, and analytical skills, with proficiency in working with data and research tools.
