About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Woodhill, a Category A male prison. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Electricians and General Maintenance staff to deliver electrical services across the site
  • Take operational responsibility for electrical service delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of five years' experience as an Electrician, preferably in an FM environment or secure setting
  • Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
