About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Electricians and General Maintenance staff in the delivery of electrical services
- Take operational responsibility for the electrical service delivery on site
- Manage and maintain commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience as an Electrician, ideally within an FM environment and/or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors
- Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems
- Previous experience leading teams and taking operational responsibility for electrical service delivery
- Good health and safety knowledge and demonstrable planning and project management skills
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
