Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, working closely with experienced colleagues to maintain and improve our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Electricians and General Maintenance staff to deliver electrical services and maintenance across our sites.
  • Take operational responsibility for the electrical service delivery on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and address electrical system issues, and implement solutions to improve overall system efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, and contribute to the development of electrical maintenance procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience as an Electrician, ideally within an FM environment and/or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors.
  • Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems.
  • Previous experience leading teams of Electricians and General Maintenance staff.
  • A certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th edition.
  • A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning & project management skills.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
