Job Title:

End of Life Care Specialist

Sue Ryder is committed to delivering high-quality end-of-life care to patients and their families. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit team as an End of Life Care Specialist.

About the Role:

This role involves working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients at the end of life. You will be responsible for assessing and managing patient symptoms, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patient symptoms, including pain, nausea, and shortness of breath.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' medical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, holiday entitlement, and opportunities for career development.
