Job Title: Care Quality Training Specialist

Barchester Healthcare is a leading provider of care services, and we are seeking an experienced training specialist to join our team. As a Care Quality Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver induction and development training programs that meet Barchester's objectives and training statistics.
  • Provide hands-on training across a variety of subjects, including person-centred care and compassion.
  • Plan and publish training calendars to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensure employee training files are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Observe workplace practice to identify areas for improvement.
  • Arrange induction paperwork and buddy systems for new employees.
  • Maintain regular contact with new team members, providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Attend external meetings and conferences as required.
  • Promote learning and development opportunities within Barchester.

Requirements:
  • City & Guilds 7300 (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or relevant experience in the sector.
  • Working knowledge of legislative requirements in the care sector.
  • At least 2 years' experience in training or education.
  • Full UK driving licence.
