Job Description:

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Assurance Practitioner to lead the development of nuclear safety cases for a major construction project within the UK. This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear safety requirements and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nuclear safety strategies and procedures.
  • Lead teams of engineers and technicians in the development of safety cases.
  • Collaborate with clients and regulators to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's Degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in nuclear safety assurance or a related field.
  • Qualifications: Previous qualification as Engineer, Senior Reactor Operator, or similar for the particular plant design for the safety case activity.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of nuclear safety processes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
