Job Title: Registered Homecare Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Homecare Manager to lead our residential children's home team. As a key member of our Care Management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our young people, while also leading and developing your team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking charity that is dedicated to delivering unique support to young people across East Anglia. As a Registered Homecare Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of experienced care staff to provide high-quality care and support to our young people
- Developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person
- Collaborating with our Therapeutic team to provide trauma-informed care and support
- Providing effective supervision and guidance to your team, including reflective supervision and annual appraisals
- Working in partnership with young people, their families, and other agencies to achieve the best outcomes for each child in your care
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local authorities, other agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification, such as a childcare-related diploma at Level 3
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, with a focus on children's services
- Proven experience of leading and developing a team, with a focus on care and support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other agencies
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on trauma-informed practice
