NXT Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Catering Assistant to join our team in Carlisle. As a key member of our client's front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and preparing food to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Service: Serve hot and cold food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  2. Beverage Preparation: Prepare hot beverages using automated machines
  3. Till Operations: Process payments and manage the till system
  4. Customer Engagement: Provide a positive and friendly experience for customers
  5. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about daily specials and meal deals to share with customers
  6. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including clearing tables and restocking supplies
  7. Kitchen Liaison: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food is cooked and the counter is replenished during busy periods

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare food to a high standard
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

Salary and Benefits:
