Catering Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Carlisle, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the kitchen staff in preparing and serving high-quality food to customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all food items are stored correctly and efficiently.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, with precision and care.
  • Assist with stock control and restocking supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Support the kitchen team with food waste management and recycling initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge, with a Food Hygiene Certificate being a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
