Care Home Deputy Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading nursing staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Supervise and lead nursing staff to ensure effective delivery of patient care
* Oversee training and development of nursing personnel, conducting performance evaluations
* Coordinate and oversee patient care plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
* Monitor and assess residents' health status, assisting in clinical decision-making and problem resolution
* Foster effective communication among healthcare team members and collaborate with other departments
* Ensure compliance with care home policies and procedures, implementing and enforcing safety protocols
* Manage nursing resources efficiently, participating in budget planning and control
* Identify areas for quality improvement and implement necessary changes

**Requirements:**

* NMC Registered
* Experience working in a care home environment
