Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local SEN school in Stockport. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities, and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for children with complex learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to children with SEN
  • Provide individualized support to children with complex needs
  • Assist with recording assessments and tracking progress
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school or care environment
  • Ability to form positive relationships with children and staff
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
