Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a partnership SEN school in Stockport.

In this role, you will provide essential support to secondary-aged children with complex additional needs, including Autism, challenging behavior, and sensory impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing resources and activities for engaging lessons
  • Record children's learning, progress, and development
  • Build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Motivate and inspire children's learning, helping them reach their full potential
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with complex needs in a school or care setting
  • Experience with personal care and/or moving and handling (desirable)
  • A kind and caring personality
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (can be applied for through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent in the future.
