Family Support Specialist

**Company Overview**
Lancashire County Council has a fantastic opportunity to join our Family Intensive Support Team on a temporary basis.
We are seeking experienced support workers who have knowledge and working experience of working 1:1 with families providing intensive support, early help, and targeted support.
The successful candidates will carry a caseload of children, young people, and their families with unmet needs up to the thresholds for statutory services, with more focus on Level 3 CON assessments.
**Job Description**
As a Family Support Specialist, you will work in Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth, and surrounding areas, undertaking appropriate assessments of needs in line with Lancashire Early Help Assessment and progress planned responses.
You will develop and deliver SMART action plans designed to address identified unmet needs, using agreed tools to measure progress made by families/individuals towards substantial and sustained change.
Flexible working is required, including some evening, early morning, and weekend delivery to meet the needs of families.
