**Job Summary:**

Lancashire County Council has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced support worker to join our Family Intensive Support Team on a temporary basis.

We are seeking a skilled individual with knowledge and working experience of providing 1:1 family intensive support, early help, and targeted support.

As a Family Support Worker, you will work in Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth, and surrounding areas, carrying a caseload of children, young people, and their families with unmet needs.

You will undertake assessments of their needs in line with Lancashire Early Help Assessment and progress appropriate planned responses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver SMART action plans designed to address identified unmet needs
  • Use agreed tools to measure the progress made by families/individuals towards substantial and sustained change
  • Record your work fully and appropriately within agreed management information systems

**Salary:** £27,269 - £31,067 Per Annum
