Job Title: Senior Regulatory Counsel - Investment Services
Job Summary:
Meraki Talent Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Regulatory Counsel to join our team in London. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in advising on regulatory frameworks, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review contracts and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Advise on regulatory frameworks, compliance, and risk management to ensure the company's operations are in line with industry standards
- Liaise with regulators and other legal professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and implement compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide expert advice on regulatory matters, including fintech industry regulations and basic tax laws
Requirements:
- Legal experience from a EU country would be an advantage
- Background in investment services, e-commerce, online marketing, regulatory, corporate, and commercial contracts
- Understanding of regulations governing the fintech industry and basic tax laws
- Excellent spoken and written English
