Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Interpretation and Advice: Interpret and advise on regulations issued by relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring that the firm remains compliant with the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Primary Legal Resource: Operate as the primary legal resource for all regulatory queries, providing timely and accurate counsel to the business.
  • Compliance Programmes: Liaise closely with the Compliance team to implement regulatory compliance programmes, ensuring that policies and procedures are up-to-date and effective.
  • Regulatory Counsel: Deliver expert counsel on intricate regulatory matters, including custodial, licensing, and risk management.

  • Investment Fund Formation: Act as lead counsel on the legal formation and launch of investment funds across various asset classes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate associated legal risks associated with fund operations and investments.
  • Regulatory Updates: Provide timely and accurate counsel on regulatory changes and their related consequences, ensuring that the business remains informed and compliant.
