About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to join our Products & Regulatory Legal Group at Apple Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising our engineering, business, and government affairs teams on complex regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the applicability of regulations to various Apple services and products.
  • Manage and coordinate internal workstreams within Apple Legal.
  • Interact with key stakeholders such as the European Commission and other regulators.
  • Collaborate with other legal groups, Apple government affairs, and cross-functional business and engineering teams.
  • Advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.
Requirements
  • 5-8+ years of experience on regulatory matters, such as competition law, digital markets/platform regulations, or privacy/data laws, at a major law firm, in-house, or regulatory authority.
  • Experience interpreting privacy/data laws, competition laws, and European regulations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Ability to develop and facilitate collaboration by cultivating relationships and effectively counseling and communicating with legal and cross-functional partners.
  • Self-starter who is curious, loves technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects.
