About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at New Appointment Group. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledger postings and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process financial documents, such as payment runs and remittance advice.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including ad-hoc duties and special projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience with Exchequer accounting software is desirable.
  • Hold or working towards an accounting qualification.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44-£12.90 per hour, depending on experience.
