Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Neurology to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and be on the GMC Specialist Register for the specialty of Neurology.
  • Have broad training and experience in General Neurology, with a sub-specialty interest in Headache or Epilepsy.
  • Demonstrate effective team and multidisciplinary working, with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Participate in clinical audit and understand the role of audit in improving medical practice.
  • Engage proactively with appraisal and revalidation.
  • Critically appraise research and demonstrate teaching skills with medical students and junior doctors.
  • Display effective leadership skills.
