About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Client Relationship Manager to join our Pension Retention team at GB035 Mercer (UK) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio containing a significant number of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Pension clients aligned to the Mercer Elect proposition, taking ownership of their needs and delivering exceptional service.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive support and guidance throughout the sales process, from onboarding to implementation and ad-hoc employer queries.
- Engage with clients on a regular basis, holding annual renewal calls and guiding them through mid-year review meetings to ensure their needs are met.
- Identify opportunities to generate leads for other parts of the business, passing them to the appropriate teams to drive growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to gather, organize, and analyze data for various client projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Follow up with clients regarding missing or inaccurate information and yearly updates, ensuring all client files are up-to-date and accurate.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in client relationship management within the pensions or financial services industry.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with a logical approach to work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise at all levels face-to-face and via video conferencing.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
- DC/SIPP pensions knowledge and experience is highly desirable.
