Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled STEAM Program Director to lead our STEAM programs at the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading in-person and virtual instructions, providing assistance with use of the various technologies, and training staff, volunteers, and patrons on safety and operation of equipment. They will also be responsible for contributing to the development of STEAM curriculum across the libraries, producing and updating educational manuals and resources, and preparing and delivering technical workshops and trainings on equipment and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STEAM education, with experience in science, engineering, and/or math. They will be proficient in graphic software applications, digital output software, 3D modeling, scanning, AR/VR production, and multimedia production. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with 2-4 years of experience working in a makerspace setting or equivalent.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position, requiring excellent communication skills, ability to thrive in a working environment with constant public contact with people from all backgrounds and age groups, and a willingness to be flexible and adaptable in an environment with a lot of change.
