Job Description

The Finance Officer role is based in London and involves occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with the JERA Group Headquarters in Japan, the JERA Nex Headquarters in the UK and Parkwind Headquarters in Belgium. You will support the day-to-day financial accounting activities of the JERA Nex and its subsidiaries, playing a crucial role in defining our accounting processes and implementing new systems across the finance team.

This unique opportunity allows you to work with international subsidiaries and gain valuable experience in global finance, driving value creation, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making at a global scale.

  • Check invoices and register payments on online banking;
  • Book the treasurer's ledger;
  • Input data into JERA HQ consolidated financial report system;
  • Organize accounting-related documents;
  • Prepare and submit documents required for audit and other purposes;
  • Coordinate with external accounting firm, auditors, headquarters in Japan and overseas offices;

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working hours and location, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • AAT or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified status;
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS norms;
  • Advanced level user skills in MS Office, particularly Excel;
  • Strong communication skills, with Japanese language proficiency being an advantage.
