Job Title: Renewable Energy Finance Manager

About JERA Nex:

We drive JERA's renewable energy business growth in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East as a global renewables IPP working across the life cycle of renewables.

Role Overview:

This exciting role will be based in London and require occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with the JERA Group Headquarters in Japan, the JERA Nex Headquarters in the UK, and Parkwind Headquarters in Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive insights, provide analysis, and develop financial models to support decision-making processes for JERA's renewable energy business growth.
  • Collaborate with business partners across functions to understand their operating expense needs and provide financial support and insights as required.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested by senior management, providing accurate and timely financial information and insights.
  • Balance critical finance deliverables with operational requests to meet all finance deadlines while supporting business partners.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operating expenses.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in Financial Planning and Analysis with 3+ years PQE and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualified finance professional ACA/CFA/CIMA.
  • Ideal experience in a big 4 accounting firm.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on operating expenses analysis.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software.
  • Data-driven and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple projects.

Salary & Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, plus benefits including flexible working hours and location.
