Primary SEN Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Primary Teaching Assistant to support two autistic students in a primary school setting. As the key support specialist, you will work closely with the Year 5 teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support and adaptations for the students.
In this role, you will assist the students with day-to-day tasks, modifying academic content to make it accessible and enjoyable. You will also guide them in managing stress and sensory challenges, helping them stay engaged and calm in the classroom.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide individualized support to two autistic students, adapting lesson content to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with the Year 5 teacher and SENCO to develop strategies for supporting the students.
- Modify academic content to make it manageable and enjoyable for the students.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with autistic students in a primary school setting.
- Patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
