Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day caretaker functions, including reactive maintenance, PPMs, compliance checks, porterage, cleaning, and security.
  • Ensure the site is fully functional, organized, clean, tidy, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Work closely with the Head of Estates and Sustainability to remotely manage the site.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and site operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless site operations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
