Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Operations Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting the management team with the day-to-day control of the site, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the management team in managing and delivering project works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, including the supervision of sub-contractors, monitoring of contractor attendance and progress, and provision of direct instruction and support as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Vistry Group PLC's safety policy, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff, the general public, and supply chain personnel.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, maintain site cleanliness and presentation, and follow Vistry Group PLC's site procedures.
  • Manage internal and external design teams/consultants to meet project deadlines, producing and regularly reviewing short-term programs to ensure completion on time.

Requirements

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and Scaffold inspection qualification.
  • Ability to work independently, self-sufficiently, and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems, communicate solutions, and drive projects to completion.
  • Hands-on approach, with experience in construction site management and coordination.
