Personal Care Assistant for a Creative Graduate

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide personal care and support to a young adult with Arthrogryposis, a disability that affects muscle strength and joint mobility. Our client is a recent graduate in Creative Writing & English Literature from Bath Spa University, and they require assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medicine, using medical equipment, and facilitating social activities. They will also assist with cooking, shopping, and housekeeping duties. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential, and the ability to commit to shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, is required.
To be suitable for this role, you should be physically fit, calm, patient, and caring. You will need to have excellent communication skills, a good sense of humour, and a mature and responsible attitude. Prior experience in care is not necessary, but some training will be provided.
