Our company is seeking a skilled SHEQ Administrator to join our team based in the UK. This role will be responsible for managing key processes and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the master control document process, updating all changes to critical documents within the scope of the IMS.
  • Monitor business and quality requirements for external suppliers, ensuring that all suppliers are selected, evaluated, and re-evaluated, and that records of this assessment are maintained.
  • Administer the Non-compliance system and manage the Customer Satisfaction system, sending monthly surveys and ensuring returned surveys are dealt with accordingly.
  • Manage the March Intra-net ISO Objectives Page and collate Dare To Care submissions, liaising with the Operations Director.
  • Prepare the SHEQ monthly board pack and manage the IMS internal audit programme, verifying planned arrangements are completed and any actions are recorded within the ISO Action Log.
  • Assist the SHEQ Manager with external audit assessments and ensure relevant evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and updated monthly.
  • Manage the SHEQ training matrix and E-learning, including sending reminders to the management team and uploading certificates.
  • Carry out internal audits in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 requirements and coordinate PQQ and Vendor Assurance requests.
  • Update the Training matrix with H&S training information and assist with updating monthly Toolbox Talks.
  • Coordinate the H&S element of the on/off-boarding of employees, arrange post-employment assessments, and issue E-Learning modules.
  • Complete weekly fire tests at Head Office and Fire Drills, serving as a First Aider/Appointed Person and Fire Marshal.
  • Support the company's wider activities by flexibly carrying out other duties when required and deliver March inductions, including Face Fit Testing.
  • Manage March assets, completing ladder/step ladder inspections and harness checks.

About You

  • You should have an interest in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality, with a view to progressing to a SHEQ Advisor role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
  • A flexible and proactive attitude is required in all aspects of the role, along with motivation by continuous improvement.
  • You should be self-driven, like being part of a team, and hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
