Job Overview:
Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Health Psychologist to fill a key role in our Critical Care Unit (CCU) team. As a Senior Clinical/Counselling Health Psychologist, you will play a vital part in designing and leading the provision of a psychology service for the Whittington Health CCU. Your primary responsibility will be to provide specialist psychological input to inpatients and outpatients attending the CCU follow-up clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with MDT and CHP colleagues to develop and implement effective interventions for patients in the CCU and beyond.
  • To contribute to the development, evaluation, and monitoring of the CCU team's operational policies and services.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have extensive post-qualification clinical and consulting experience in physical health care, with a strong focus on psychological trauma. A doctorate-level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology is essential, as is current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
