Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Dietitian to cover maternity leave in our renal dietetics team. The successful candidate will have clinical experience in renal dietetics and leadership experience in managing teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and operational management to the renal, diabetes, and community dietetic teams based across Brighton & Hove.
  • Manage a complex renal outpatient clinical caseload, including satellite haemodialysis units and AKCC clinics.
  • Work collaboratively with the dietetic teams from other hospital sites, including Worthing and Chichester.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Manage staff recruitment, service quality, and change management within the team.
Requirements
  • BSc, Diploma, or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Clinical Specialist to Masters level or equivalent.
  • Recognised qualification in Leadership/Management.
  • Demonstrated experience of senior dietitian role, quality improvement, and change management.
  • Demonstrated experience of managing, supporting, and developing others.
