Maternity Leave Cover 0.8WTE, 12 months fixed term
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Dietitian to cover maternity leave and provide leadership, development, and operational management of the renal, diabetes, and community dietetic teams based across Brighton & Hove.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex renal clinical caseload, including satellite haemodialysis units, AKCC clinics, and cover for other renal dietitians during leave.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing operational management to the renal, diabetes, and community dietetic teams
- Managing a complex renal outpatient clinical caseload
- Liaising and working collaboratively with the dietetic teams from other hospital sites
- Working closely with the Therapy & Dietetics Site Leads and the Head of Dietetics
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Facilitating an effective dietetic service for renal, diabetes, and community dietetic teams
- Providing leadership, development, and operational management across Brighton & Hove
- Working as part of the renal clinical team, holding a renal clinical caseload and supporting other clinical teams within the department
