Transport Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Transport Coordinator to join our team at Great Bear. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for effectively planning and coordinating the movement of goods and materials to meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily transportation schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation movements, including driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo tracking.
- Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transportation coordination or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and transportation management software.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws.
