Main Responsibilities

As a Childcare Development Officer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality residential care and support services to children and young people.

Your key duties will include:

  • Promoting the welfare and well-being of our residents.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to relevant authorities.

You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care services and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key qualifications include experience working with vulnerable young people, commitment to the role, and flexibility to work a range of shifts, including some weekends and bank holidays.

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a minimum of £14,325.20 per annum (including sleep ins), plus additional benefits such as full training, paid sleep-ins, company pension, and employee discount scheme.
