Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatry Consultant to lead our CAMHS East team, providing clinical leadership and expertise in delivering high-quality care to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide visible, accessible, authoritative and professional clinical leadership to the CAMHS community team in the East of the county.
  • To ensure high standards of clinical practice and provide specific professional and expert clinical opinion and advice on a range of problems to professionals within the CAMHS sector.
  • To work closely with other senior members of the community team to ensure referrals are risk assessed and allocated to the most appropriate clinician in a timely manner.
  • To promote effective communication within the team and with referring and receiving teams, including the RAFT team.

Salary Range: £85,000 - £110,000 per annum
