Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the prevention, promotion, and protection of public health in our prison communities.
  • Develop and implement health promotion strategies to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services and promote health education.
  • Conduct health needs assessments and develop targeted interventions to address health issues.
  • Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients and staff.
Requirements
  • First-level Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
  • Passion for working in public health and infection prevention and control.
  • UKPHR registration is highly advantageous, as is a public health qualification and Infection prevention and control qualification.
