Job Description:

The Corner House pub in St Neots offers a unique opportunity for an experienced town centre operator to take on a premises with potential for growth and development. The pub is situated in a highly visible location on the Market Square, offering ample scope for creating a food offer and hosting entertainment evenings.

Salary and Benefits

We are offering a salary of £31,800 per annum, based on a potential profit before drawings and machine income of £31,800. This includes a potential machine income of £9,500. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also benefit from a desirable location in the heart of the café and late-night entertainment scene.

Company Overview

Wells & Co. Pub Partners is proud to present this exciting opportunity for an experienced operator to take on a town centre premises with the option of creating and developing the food trade. The pub has been an established late-night and sports venue, but there is an opportunity to move towards a more hybrid venue offering a casual dining food offer during the day and early evening, and then evolving into a cocktail and late-night venue in the evening.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To develop and implement a business plan that maximises the potential of the pub's location and customer base.
  2. To manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff management, inventory control, and financial management.
  3. To work closely with the local authority to secure necessary licenses and permits.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced town centre operator who has a proven track record of success in managing a pub or similar establishment. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. A basic knowledge of accounting and finance would be beneficial.
