Director of Engineering

IC Resources is seeking a highly experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Analog/RF IC Design team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of complex multichip RFIC-based module solutions for wireless connectivity applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage RF product and IP development for TX/RX wireless modules
  • Collaborate with Marketing and customers to define product specifications and requirements
  • Conduct architecture studies and feasibility simulations
  • Ensure use of latest simulation methodologies
  • Hire, mentor, and train new team members
  • Provide status updates to senior management
  • Travel to customer sites and other company sites as required
Requirements:
  • Industry degree qualified with a minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in Analog/RF IC Design and leadership/team management
  • Working knowledge of RF IC components, including Switch/LNA/PA
  • Semiconductor process technologies such as CMOS, GaAs/Silicon HBT, SOI, BiCMOS
  • Interfacing with customers
  • Leading cross-functional product teams
  • Wireless communications standards knowledge such as Wi-Fi or LTE
  • RF simulation tools including ADS, Cadence, and EM tools
