Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at The Stannah Group of Companies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing all aspects of mechanical design solutions for new and legacy products to corporate and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions
  • Analyse requirements using the DFMEA process to define test specifications
  • Examine designs using component level DFMEA process
  • Produce technical documentation for production, installation and service
  • Assess the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to mechanical engineering
  • CAD (preferably Creo) and PLM (preferably Windchill) experience
  • Drafting to BS8888 or other equivalent/relevant standard
