Customer Care Representative

About the Role:

We're looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Contact Centre team. As a Customer Care Representative, you'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively handle customer queries through email, social media, chat, and telephony channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take ownership of customer issues, aiming to resolve them first-time and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the improvement of working processes within the team and wider business.
  • Share information with colleagues and update knowledge management systems.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required to ensure all customers have a great experience with Bath Bid.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a high-volume B2C customer service centre.
  • Experience in handling and owning complaints through to resolution and to timescales.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate them clearly with customers.
  • Confident and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Good listener, able to identify customer needs and guide conversations to understand and resolve customer queries.
  • Empathetic and able to relate to a wide-ranging demographic.
  • Flexible approach and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Desire to learn and take initiative to develop professionally.
