Senior Medical Director, Barts Health NHS Trust

Our Senior Medical Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to our medical staff across four major hospital sites.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader who can develop and implement clinical policies that drive excellence in patient care. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and a proven track record of success in similar roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and direction to our medical teams
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive organisational change
The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced medical qualifications (e.g. FRCP, FRCR)
- Proven experience in a senior medical leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a generous pension scheme, private health insurance, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
