Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as Associate Head of Finance. The successful candidate will have significant experience in senior roles within finance and be fully committed to continuous professional development.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the business unit's financial management, including leading a team of accountants and managing day-to-day support in all aspects of the hospital's financial performance and business planning.

The post holder will provide leadership to the Royal London and Mile End Hospital sites, demonstrating expert accounting and business knowledge, analytical support, and clear presentation of complex financial information to clinical and non-clinical colleagues.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a recognised CCAB or equivalent qualification and have over 5 years' senior NHS financial management experience. You should also possess excellent planning and organisational skills, the ability to analyse complex information, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
