Dining Hall Assistant

At Go To Outsourcing, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Support Staff Member to join our care home team.
This role involves working in a small kitchen environment, preparing and serving meals to our residents. You will need to be aware of good nutrition and able to cater for special dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the kitchen team in meal preparation and service.
- Catering for residents with special dietary needs.
- Working effectively in a small team environment.
- Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
- 12+ months experience as a Kitchen Assistant.
- Able to cook for 30+ people in one sitting.
- Able to cook from fresh produce and English style dishes.
- Able to work from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Able to cook on the spot if a resident doesn't like the offered meal.
- Comfortable with IDDSI training.
Schedule:
- Available to work between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Generally 8–10-hour shifts).
- Right to work in the UK and 12 months experience in a care setting.
- Enhanced DBS (one can be applied for).
- Able to work 20-30+ hours per week.
