About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support for students with ADHD in our primary school.

Job Summary

This is a full-time contract position, based in Havering, where you will work closely with our teaching team to develop and implement tailored support plans for students with ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with ADHD in maintaining focus and organisation throughout their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create and implement individualised support strategies, ensuring each student receives the necessary assistance to thrive academically and behaviourally.
  • Support the management of behavioural challenges within the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with students who have ADHD, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and how to provide effective support.
  • A DBS check is required for this role.
