About the Role:

The University of Hertfordshire is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Academic Registry, Collaborative Partnerships Unit, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records throughout the student life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective filing, storage, and archiving systems to ensure compliance with quality audit, data, and PSRB requirements.
  • Support the team in updating student records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Utilize customer database systems and data input, interpretation, and analysis skills to ensure seamless student experience.
  • Collaborate with academic and professional staff to achieve customer service standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, including customer database systems and data input, interpretation, and analysis.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and collaboration/conferencing tools.
  • Accuracy, numeracy, and attention to detail, including within large data sets.
  • Education to A-level standard or equivalent professional work experience.
