Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children and young people with complex communication needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy programs for students with complex communication needs.
  • Conduct baseline communication assessments and write SMART targets for education plans.
  • Lead and deliver training to the education team on social communication and language development.
  • Collaborate with education staff to develop and implement communication strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor and review outcomes for communication aims and modify programs as required.
Requirements:
  • Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC.
  • Professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions.
  • Knowledge of therapy interventions in learning disability and behavior support.
