About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Ecommerce Trader to play a crucial role in our in-house e-commerce team at Lyle & Scott.



The successful candidate will be responsible for the onsite trade performance of our Global, multi-million-pound revenue e-commerce site, requiring a comprehensive understanding of product, merchandising and onsite trade best practices.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day onsite trading of our Global site, taking responsibility for sales and margin, and shared responsibility of AOV, UPT and onsite conversion.
  • Work closely with merchandising to manage the business unit's seasonal range plan, ensuring all products are available and launched, and accompanying information is present, relevant, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial e-commerce lead to create the seasonal product file to launch our seasonal products onsite, ensuring all products are mapped and shown correctly.
  • Assist the Senior Head of eCommerce and the wider team in mapping out annual, monthly, and weekly targets, ensuring the team and wider teams are aware of these and the actions needed to achieve them.
  • Propose and deliver the online trading strategy across digital channels, devise trading solutions and opportunities to improve customer experience, and increase profit/margin.
  • Monitor and analyse sales/margin, creating relevant reports to illustrate and support actions to optimise trade, proposing solutions to the wider team to boost poor sellers/optimise bestsellers to increase conversion rate.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to own and execute the e-commerce trading calendar, ensuring alignment with the brand, customer experience, and merchandising teams so that the site complements any activity.
  • Submit and lead the unit's promotional plans, ensuring promotions and incentives are delivered and in line with wider business objectives where necessary.
