We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our York Service Committee. As a Treasurer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the committee's finances are well-organised and administered in accordance with SSAFA regulations and charity law. You will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the bank account, recording transactions, and preparing year-end accounts and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate records using SSAFA's online finance management system
  • Working together with the Chair and wider team around financial planning, advising on the financial implications of any plans and overseeing the annual budget
  • Providing training and support to other volunteers on financial management
