The Role

We're seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As the Chef Manager, you'll have full operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, as well as driving sales through promotions and added value events.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, coach, train, and motivate your kitchen team
  • Manage catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
  • Ensure consistency of food and service standards
  • Drive sales through promotions and added value events
  • Manage and improve controllable costs
  • Oversee menu development
  • Maintain company systems and procedures, and legislation
  • Carry out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
About You

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You'll need:

  • OND or HND qualified (advantageous)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience within a similar environment
