Job Title: Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Director to join our team at Magdalen College School. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote our school to current and prospective parents, students, staff, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our school community
  • Manage and maintain our school's website, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate, and providing strategic oversight of its evolution and development
  • Monitor and analyze website analytics to inform marketing decisions and optimize user journeys
  • Produce high-quality marketing materials, including print and online collateral, to promote our school's programs and services
  • Manage our school's social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and ensure timely responses to comments and messages
  • Liaise with our PPC agency to execute search advertising campaigns and oversee the schedule to ensure timely delivery of assets
  • Assist the Admissions team with Open Events, providing promotional materials and additional support during busy periods
  • Oversee the Marketing Officer in managing press cuttings via Coverage Book software
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in education or a similar field
  • Highly skilled communicator with management experience of developing marketing and communication strategies and campaigns for diverse audiences
  • Strong social media and digital skills, including knowledge of WordPress or a similar CMS, and a working understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and Google Tag Manager
  • First-rate organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects on deadline and within budget
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to work well with all ages and stakeholders
